Innovation & fashion

Fashion is a kind of self-expression that has to do with one's choice of attire, their possession of accessories, and their way of life. One's appearance is what people admire most about them. Fashion is a collection of emerging trends. Trends are created by popular designs, and these trends then serve as fashion benchmarks. The most popular trends are implied by fashion, but it also plays a significant part in expressing one's personality in a visual context, which is indirectly visual communication. It displays the preferences and tastes of the consumer. New fashion concepts are introduced through various music albums, films, books, television shows, etc.

This process of fashion is never-ending and ever-evolving. When looking at the history of fashion, it can be seen that up until the middle ages, clothing was meant to protect the body. In contrast, from the 15th to the 18th centuries, the dress was meant to pleasure the public, encourage consumer purchase and serve as a show of authority. While fast fashion gained popularity in the 20th century.

The fashion industry is unique compared to other production sectors. It is always governed with the purpose of requiring adjustments to the way of life that is already practised. The fashion industry often referred to as the associated industry, is a technique to highlight fashion by helping to create cutting-edge garments and promote various looks based on consumer demand. The flow of fashion industry goes through several stages, starting with the acquisition of fibres as the raw material, followed by the production of yarn and fabric from those fibres, the creation of the various styles that are created by the designers, and finally the distribution of products to wholesalers and retailers so that the final target market can be reached through various promotion and advertising strategies.

There are many different fashion markets, including haute couture (famous for its pricey and unique designs), ready-to-wear (RTW) items that are sold already made, diffusion, bridge, and mass market. Since the 15th century, when civilization started to emerge, fashion has been influenced by the various trends set by designers. Members of this society have always sought to reflect their affluence via their personal style choices and to create some trends.

Future development in terms of corporate competition depends on innovation. There have been various innovations in the fashion sector, when change is required, that have brought newness and new views to the procedures involved in accomplishing things over time. New fibres, dyeing methods, finishing methods, new fabrics, etc. can all contribute to innovation in the fashion industry.
